Obituary
SCOTIA –
It is with great sadness we announce the death of our beloved mother, Alice Patricia Tatro, 90, of Scotia, NY on August 15, 2024.
Alice was the daughter of the late Arthur and Anita Maneely of Malone NY.
She grew up in Malone and attended St. Joseph's Academy. Alice moved to Scotia in the late 1950s. She was a lifelong employee of New York Telephone/AT&T as an operator but her most important job was caring for her family. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Scotia, NY.
Alice is survived by her four children: Maureen (Scot) McCloud, Patricia (Chip) Arata, David Tatro, Jr. and Adam Tatro, three grandchildren: Jessica Colello, Erin Covey and Rachel Arata and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Betty, her brothers: Danny, Bob and Mike and sister-in-law Dian Connor.
Alice was predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Jim and Howard, her sisters: Maryanne and Kathleen, her daughter, Janice, her ex-husband David Tatro and her daughter-in-law Mary.
We want to thank the staff at Kingsway Nursing Home for her excellent care over the last 6 months.
Memorial arrangements are being made and details will be provided in the future.
She will be greatly missed.
