Alice Marie Thorne, 84, of Rotterdam, NY and "The Villages" in Lady Lake, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, January 27, 2013 at Albany Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Alice was a truly devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She will be sorely missed. Alice was the beloved wife of the late Raymond P. Thorne who died in 2009. She was treasured mother of: Reginald F. Thorne (Lorraine) of Rotterdam, NY, Sharon Hansbury of Troy, NY and Steven R. Thorne (Diane) of Glenville, NY, precious grandmother and great grandmother of: Matthew S. Thorne (Myra), Christopher F. Thorne, Ryan R. Thorne, Brianna Hansbury, Andrew Thorne, Colin Thorne and Tyler Florada. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
