COHOES –

Angele Marie Balzer, born September 7, 1971 was gifted her angel wings on December 12, 2025 while at home in Cohoes where she grew up. She bravely fought pancreatic cancer with everything she had. She is the beloved daughter of Jeanne Peltier Balzer and the late, Benjamin J. Balzer, Sr., cherished sister of Rhea and Benjamin, Jr., an amazing mother of her precious Amber Murphy, whom she adored; nieces and nephew Erica, Steven and Tina and great nieces/nephews Liam, Audrina and Sophia.

“Lee” also held special friends, Shantell, Kathy, Sam and many others who she quickly bonded with. Angele was a well accomplished dental hygienist and cosmetologist; graduating from HVCC and most recently her bachelor degree from Vermont Tech. She enjoyed her exercise equipment, finished her first 8K run with her daughter and was always free-spirited and adventurous to go with the wind on a moment's notice.

Per her request, there are no wake or funeral services by Simple Choices, but will be followed by an upcoming Celebration of Life.
