Bonnie L. Russell, 71, of Mechanicville passed away suddenly at Samaritan Hospital on April 25,2023. She is survived by her sister Tanya, her three daughters Nikkol, Che' and Desiree, as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Mom passed away leaving behind a legacy of unforgettable memories. She had a profound sense of humor and could crack a joke and make anyone laugh even on the gloomiest of days. Despite being a walking disaster and winding up in the hospital more times that one can count, mom always managed to make light of the situation and come out with one of her one-liners to put a smile on someone's face. Mom will be missed; but we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and setting up shop somewhere up above where she will surely add a touch of humor to her surroundings. Rest in peace Mom, you will be remembered with love and laughter. Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
