Bruce E. Doughty, 60, of Stillwater, NY, passed away peacefully at home on May 25, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Bruce was born in December of 1963, in Alexandria, VA, to Elting and Mary Alice (McClements) Doughty.
Bruce leaves behind his beloved children: Jordan M. Doughty (Mathew) and Jacob B. Doughty; His loving mother, Mary Alice Doughty; His siblings: Mark Doughty (Kelly), Marybeth Kolonsky (Peter), William Doughty, Melissa Schreifels (Eric), Tina Davis (Howard), Rachael Tanner (Thomas), and Christopher Doughty (Jennifer); His nieces and nephews, a huge extended family, and many friends.
Bruce is preceded in death by his father, Elting R.
Doughty.
Bruce was a one of a kind dad, son, brother, uncle and friend. We will always remember his big heart, his fierce independence, and most of all, his extraordinary, unwavering strength. We were so lucky to have him. We will love and miss him forever.
As per his request, no services will be held. Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
