Carson J. Peters, 96 of Schenectady, N.Y. passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014.
Born in Allentown, PA., he was the son of Robert M. and Elda (Scheirer) Peters.
A veteran of WW II, Carson served in North Africa with the Allentown 213th National Guard Co. B. A retired brewery worker, his former residences include Staten Island, NY, Sebring, FL, and Kingsway Manor, Schenectady, NY
He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years Gertrude (Bergdolt) Peters; and siblings Louis, Laura Christman and Katherine Weider.
Carson is survived by daughter Julia M. Roth (John) of Scotia, N.Y.; sons Robert J. Peters (Karen) of Wilmington, N.Y.; John J. Peters (Marie) of Belvidere, N.J.; six Grandchildren and nine Great-Grandchildren.
A memorial service at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery will be held at a later time, to be determined by the family.
