Glenville, NY – Charlene A. Jandro, 69, of Glenville and formerly of Albany, died on April 11, 2016. The only child of the late Charles and Rose Jandro, Charlene was born in Albany on January 5, 1947. A longtime resident of Albany, Charlene received a catholic education through Blessed Sacrament Church in Albany and her bachelor's degree from Maria College in Albany. She was a clerk for the State of New York for 36 years beginning at age 19 and retiring at 55 years old. For many years she resided on 2nd Avenue in Albany. Charlene is survived by her beloved extended family: her longtime friend Sue Edwards and her son Cody Nguyen (Charlene's Godson), and two other nephews; Justin and Alex, also survive. Charlene will be laid to rest beside her parents in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands. Prayers for the repose of her soul will be offered at 10 a.m., on Saturday, April 16, 2016.
