TROY –

Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, once said to his disciples: "Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God" (Luke 18:16). On July 31, 2023, the beloved daughter of Andrew Scott and Emma Lea Laughlin was safely called home to be with Jesus along with her Nana and Pa Laughlin in the Kingdom of Heaven.

In addition to her parents, Chevelle is survived by her big sister Kyla (6) who was anxiously awaiting to welcome her new baby sister. Also survived by her grandparents: Daniel J. Laughlin, Jacki Rootes, Robert Rootes and William Surprenant, great grandparents: Ed and Yong Surprenant and Ken and Carol McGivern. Uncle and Aunt Max Surprenant and Amya Sousis, Godmother Nazrin Hurwitch and many great aunts, great uncles and cousins also survive.

Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. The Laughlin Family has chosen to mourn the loss of their baby girl in private. We ask for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
