CRAIG Donald Mulyca Obituary

Craig Donald Mulyca of Rotterdam, NY, aged 48, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026 in Schenectady, NY. Born in Schenectady, NY, on January 22, 1978, to William Donald Mulyca and Margaret Janet (Price) Mulyca. Craig grew up in Charlton, NY, and was a graduate of Burnt Hills Ballston Lake High School.

After High School, Craig went out to Arizona to attend Universal Technical Institute and graduated with a Certificate for Auto Technician; however, Craig did not work in the auto repair field, but chose to persue a career in contruction. For a number of years, until recently, he lived in Florida doing home repairs there. In recent years, he resided in Rotterdam, NY.

Craig was a go getter and always stayed busy. He was very generous with his time and regularly helped people when he could with remodeling or repairing homes, cars, anything that needed fixing; even when it was difficult for him to do so.

Craig loved cars, motorcycling, specifically dirt bike riding, boating, and snowboarding. He could keep older cars running a long time after others would have given up on them. He loved music and attended concerts. Bonfires in the backyard with friends and family were special to him as well as spending time with them on holidays and any other time they would come to visit. He was a friendly, gentle soul and will be missed greatly.

Craig was predeceased by his parents, William and Margaret Mulyca, and survived by his brother, Robert Mulyca, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial gathering in rememberance of Craig will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm, at DoubleTree by Hilton, 100 Nott Terrace, Schenectady, NY 12308. All are welcome.
