SCHENECTADY- Crystal Dawn Brooks, 33, of Schenectady died on March 23, 2021. Born on October 29, 1987 in Cambridge, New York, Crystal was the daughter of Jeffrey Martin and Geneva Wolfe. She was kind person and a good soul, with a great sense of humor. Her kindness led her to attend classes at Schenectady Community College with the dream of wanting to help troubled teens. She also had a strong affinity and love for animals and enjoyed all genres of music. She had an artistic bent in creating collages out of magazine clippings. She is loved and will be missed greatly. In addition to her parents, Crystal is survived by her two children (the loves of her life) her son Jayden James Scott (14) and daughter Erica Elaine Parker (3). She is also survived by her sister, Racheal Wolfe, her cousin and best friend, Jessica Mattison, her sister by choice and best friend, Sheena, multiple nieces, and her large extended family. A celebration of her life will be held on April 3, 2021 at Simple Choices, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue, Troy, NY, 12180. Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 1-2, where a service will be held at 2pm. A second celebration of her life will be held in Hudson Falls, NY, with date and location to be determined.
