NORTH BENNINGTON, VT –
Cynthia J. Overstreet, 48, of North Bennington, Vermont, passed away at Albany Medical Center on July 24, 2025.
She was born in Bennington, Vermont on Veteran's Day, November 11, 1976, a daughter of William Matson, Sr. and Pamela (Baldwin) Matson.
Cynthia graduated from Arlington Memorial High School (Class of 1994), she attended classes at CCV.
Cynthia was an assistant manager for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., at their locations in Spring Lake, NC and Pittsfield, MA. In her personal time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and photography.
Cynthia was the beloved wife of 16 years to James K. Overstreet, whom she married on May 16, 2009 in North Carolina. She was the loving mother of Peyton Overstreet and Kadynne Overstreet; the dearest sister of William Matson, Jr. and Johnathan Matson and cherished daughter of William Matson, Sr. and Pamela (Baldwin) Matson. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Betty Hazelton.
