HUDSON –
Darrow Lee McCleese, 60, of Hudson, passed away on January 20, 2024.
The son of John Willie Thomas and the late Mary (McCleese) Caldwell, Darrow was born on May 25, 1963 in Salisbury, Maryland.
Mr. McCleese was formerly employed at the Ancram Paper Mill and Dinosaw, Inc.
His family will fondly remember him as being a "big family man" who loved his kids and always enjoyed time with loved ones.
In addition to his father, survivors include his wife of nearly 34 years, Donna McCleese, whom he married on July 14, 1990 in Hudson. His two children: Trey McCleese and Tenaya McCleese. His two granddaughters: Taviana McCleese and Jalissa McCleese. His sister Lula Thomas and brother John Thomas (Yasmine Thomas), as well as his niece Lula and nephew John Thomas also survive.
The McCleese Family wishes to thank both Columbia Memorial Hospital ICU staff and Albany Medical Center ICU staff for their compassion and care.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. A Celebration of Life for Darrow will be held by his family at a later date.
