Obituary

TROY -

Deborah Ann Plumadore, a true daughter of Troy, New York, passed away on December 14, 2025, at the age of 73, surrounded by the love that defined her life. A lifelong resident, Deborah was a beacon of warmth and a constant, friendly presence in the neighborhoods she called home since birth. Her memory will be forever cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Born to John and Virginia (Hamm) Lowe, Deborah grew up with a deep appreciation for the simple joys of everyday living. Whether it was a perfectly brewed cup of coffee on a quiet morning or the vibrant energy of a family gathering, she found beauty in the mundane. She built her life around the people she loved, and the depth of the affection expressed by her family speaks volumes about the gentle, caring life she led. She was simply loved by many and will be dearly missed for her quiet strength and unwavering kindness.

Deborah leaves behind a legacy of family, including her children, Justin Plumadore and Kimberly Plumadore, who brought her immense pride and were the center of her world. Her spirit lives on in her five grandchildren—Madeline, Lily, Fiona, Oakley, and Willow—each of whom was a testament to her enduring love and a source of her most radiant smiles. She also deeply cherished the laughter and camaraderie of her cherished "Crazy THS Ladies," a close circle of high school friends with whom she loved to share get-togethers and reconnect over fond memories.

A devoted sister, Deborah shared close bonds with her surviving siblings, Paul (Barbara) Olekoski, Denise Gold, Laura Quidgeon, and Betty Sue Hall. She now rests in peace, reunited with those who preceded her: her dear parents, John and Virginia, her brothers, Jay Lowe and Alex Olekoski, and she is forever resting with the love of her life, Howard York.

The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Deborah’s memory in their own personal way. In remembrance of her kind spirit, the family kindly suggests making a donation to a local Troy charity in her honor, in lieu of flowers.
