Obituary
FORT JOHNSON –
Dennis Lauziere peacefully passed away at home on November 11, 2024 at the age of
76.
He was born Dennis Lucien Lauziere in Berlin, N.H., in 1948, but known by everyone as Dan.
Dan will be lovingly remembered by his children: Heather (Jay) Wynn and Daniel (Evelyn) Lauziere. He will also be missed by his brother John (Karen) Lauziere and his grandson Jordan Wynn, as well as by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Ellen
Lauziere.
Dan was well known as a loving husband, a devoted dad, and a proud Popi. He loved the outdoors and he loved chocolate. He spent a lot of time fishing, hunting, camping, and boating. But most of all he loved his God, Jehovah.
Even after being diagnosed with a fatal disease, he didn't let that stop him from living an active full life, loving every minute with his family and friends and sharing his hope of a world without pain, sickness, and death with others.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 2 PM, at the Amsterdam Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses,
525 Fort Hunter Road, Amsterdam, NY 12010
, with a remote Zoom meeting option.
