NASSAU- Dennis L. Roberts, 71, of Nassau, entered into rest on May 17, 2022. The son of the late Leon H., Jr. and Florence (O'Neill) Roberts, Dennis was born on November 1, 1950, in North Adams, Mass. He was the husband of Catherine R. (Dollard) Roberts. Dennis was raised in Hancock, Mass. He received his education from McCann Vocational Technical High School in North Adams, Mass. For 50 years, Dennis worked as a truck driver for various local companies. Dennis loved dogs, birds, and his family. He enjoyed auto and horse racing and was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast. In addition to his wife, Dennis is survived by his children: Kelly Linn (Shane) and Jason Wood (Catherine). His grandchildren: Alexis, Logan, Keegan and Jayden. His siblings: John Roberts (Jane) and Julie Williams (Arthur). Many nieces and nephews also survive. Cremation took place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. A celebration of Dennis' life will be held on May 28, 2022, from 12 noon until 4 pm at his home: 3624 Route 20, Nassau, NY 12123.
