Dorothy M Bottone passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her beloved family on September 16, 2016. Born June 2, 1927 in Amsterdam New York, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Seraphina Fondacaro. Dorothy worked as manager of OTB in Schenectady from which she retired. She was dedicated to her two grandsons which she loved dearly. She loved cooking and entertaining for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her husband Vincent of 68 years; her two children Mariepaulette and Vincent (Lynn); two grandsons, Vincent and his wife Megan Bottone Jr, Nicholas A. Bottone and fiancé Jessica M. Moreau, and a great grandchild Vincent S. Bottone III whom she was blessed to have spent time with. Dorothy had ten siblings; Paul, John, Victor, Sammy, Joe, Annette, Rosie, Mary, Carm, and Lucy. We love and miss her already so much. We love you; wife, mom, and grandmother. A Memorial Mass of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 20th at 10:30 am from St. Madeleine Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Road, Guilderland, NY 12303. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
