Stuyvesant, NY- Earl Peters, 76, of Stuyvesant, died on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Son of the late Warren B. and Clara E. (Stevens) Peters, Earl was born in Schaghticoke, NY on September 30, 1939. He was a lifelong resident of Stuyvesant, NY. Mr. Peters served his country in the US Army from 1961 until 1964. Upon his honorable discharge he returned home to Stuyvesant where he was a carpenter by trade. Survivors include his brother Warren Peters, two-step children, Robert (Gail) Hinz and Danielle Hinz-Nistico, and four step grandchildren. In November of 2002, Earl was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Peters, whom he married in Stuyvesant on October 25, 1986 Memorial services will be at a later date.
