SARATOGA SPRINGS- Elaine Stengel, 88, of Saratoga Springs, died December 30, 2020 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany after a brief illness. Elaine was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, to Barlow and Frances (O'Connor) McNutt. She raised four children with her former husband, Leo Stengel, who preceded her in death. She highly valued education, was quick to voice her opinion and couldn't help but leave an impression. Elaine loved dogs, and gave many of them an excellent home over the years. In addition to her four children, Elaine is survived by her brother, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In keeping with her wishes and prior arrangements, she will be buried, without service or memorial, at The Dell in Vale Cemetery, Schenectady.
