Elizabeth E. Nolan

Elizabeth E. Nolan, 79, of Troy, New York passed away on June 19th, 2026. She was born on October 15th, 1946, and was the daughter of Michael J. Nolan Sr. and Eleanor M. Nolan.

She graduated as an RN from SUNY College in 1992. She worked in various hospitals and nursing homes with her heart always leaning toward caring for the elderly.

Her family includes two brothers, Michael J. Nolan (Nancy Nolan) and Donald Nolan, two sisters, Patricia A. Nolan and Catherine M. Brooks, a nephew, James M. Brooks, (Sarah Ignazio), two great-nieces, Alexandria Brooks (Ally) and Victoria Brooks (Tori); as well as a Cousin, Brian Gardner, her best friend Barbara Kennedy and her goddaughter June Cruden (Eric Cruden). She will also be remembered by many friends and associates.

Her passions included holidays and decorating, The New York Yankees, The Wizard of Oz, bingo and reading. A special note of thanks to everyone at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, Ellis Hospital in Schenectady and Sunnyview Rehabilitation in Schenectady.

Visitation will be held at Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Ave, Troy, New York 12180 on Wednesday, June 24th from 1 to 3 PM. At 3 PM a prayer service will be conducted by Deacon Chuck Wojtan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
