GUILDERLAND -
Estelle Mary Pitkiewicz, 92, a longtime resident of Guilderland and formerly of Albany, entered into eternal rest on January 22, 2026, from the comfort of her own home.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Harold Klein Heiter and Loretta Elizabeth Masterson. A woman of faith and service, she was an active member of her church community and volunteered her time at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center Nursing Home. In her leisure, she enjoyed crafting, dancing, music, and watching Turner Classic Movies. She was a loving mother to five children.
Estelle was the beloved wife of the late Anthony T. Pitkiewicz, Jr., whom she married on May 24, 1958 in Hampton Manor, NY. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Thomas Pitt.
She is survived by her children: Anthony T. Pitkiewicz III, Liz Weis, Christine Heiter, and Steven (Jamie) Pitkiewicz; her cherished grandchildren: Christian Hokaj, Rachel Hokaj, Lucy Pitkiewicz, and Billy Pitkiewicz; and her valued caregivers, Rich Nunziato and Agnus Larcenaire, to whom the family extends heartfelt thanks.
