Flora Larkin passed away Monday April 24, 2017.  Flora was born on January 26, 1931 in the Bronx to Myles and Mary Alley and moved to Queens where she attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Elementary School, and Julia Richmond High School in Manhattan.  She married James on February 27, 1949 and raised a family of six children.  She and James lived in Georgia for a short period of time.  Upon his passing in April 2000, Flora moved back to New York and resided in Hudson until she moved to Scotia in 2002.  She enjoyed shopping, puzzles, word searches, coloring, eating out, spending time with her family and attending the Glenville Senior Center.  Flora is predeceased by two of her children, Joan and Patricia, and survived by her other four children, Carol, Janet, James and Karen, 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, her sister Evelyn, her brother-in-law Gerald and his wife Eileen, and several nieces and nephews.  A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 am Saturday, April 29 at Immaculate Conception Church on Saratoga Road in Glenville.
