HALFMOON –
George W. Kuchis, 70, of Halfmoon, formerly of Albany, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 4, 2024.
Son of the late William and Stella Kuchis, George was born on November 27, 1953 in Albany, New York.
Mr. Kuchis worked as an Automobile Service Manager for over 40 years.
He was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. George loved to travel with his wife and enjoyed going to the casino. Family was everything to him and he loved all of them very much.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Donna Kuchis, whom he married on August 17, 1985 in Albany at St. George's Church. Also surviving are his 2 shepherds (Stoli and Scarlet) as well as nine nieces and nephews and ten great nieces and nephews.
George was brother to Diane (Eric) Reinhart, Anthony (Michelle) Kuchis, and brother-in-law to: Thomas (Patricia) Lorenzo and John (Lisa) Lorenzo.
In addition to his parents, William and Stella, George was predeceased by his sister Laraine Kuchis, his father-in-law, William Lorenzo, and mother-in-law Audrey Lorenzo.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
A Celebration of George's Life will be held at a later date by his family.
