WATERFORD –
Mr. Glenn S. Mattice, Sr., 65, of Waterford, formerly of Saratoga Springs, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy NY.
He was born on November 1, 1959 in Albany, NY. A son of the late William and Shirley Mattice.
Glenn resided in Saratoga Springs for many years with his wife of 37 years, Susan, and his 3 children: Kristen, Glenn, Jr. & Nicholas.
Mr. Mattice was a self-employed carpenter in construction and millwork, he was the owner and operator of Sheds Decks & Such. Glenn enjoyed family time, he also enjoyed building sheds with his older son Glenn, Jr. Glenn was an avid fan of both NASCAR and Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Susan (Benjamin) Mattice, whom he married on April 23, 1988 in Schenectady, NY. Devoted father of: Kristen Benjamin, Glenn Mattice, Jr., (Lani) and Nicholas Mattice (Anna). Also surviving is one brother, William Mattice.
A private viewing was held for the immediate family in the chapel of Simple Choices, Inc. & Riverview Funeral Home, Troy, NY. A private cremation followed the viewing under the direction and care of Simple Choices, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue, Troy, NY 12180.
