LATHAM- Born July 24, 1939, in Manchester, Connecticut to parents Austin and Elizabeth (nee Fowler) Pomeroy and died peacefully on February 11, 2022. A devoted husband and father, Gordon is survived by his wife of 37 years Phyllis (nee Cristo), his daughters Dawn and Laurie, his son Steven (Andrea) and his sister Phyllis. In addition, Gordon is survived by two stepchildren, Theresa, and Thomas. He is pre-deceased by his parents, his son Kevin, and his brother Bill. With his doctorate in chemistry, Gordon worked for many years in private industry before retiring from York Technical College in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Gordon loved his wife, loved his children, and adored his 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Cremation took place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. The memorial service for friends and family is scheduled for 12pm Saturday February 19, 2022, at the Hearthstone Village Club House, located at 4000 Florence Drive, Latham, NY 12110.
