Rotterdam, NY ~ James D. Ganther, 52, of Rotterdam, died peacefully at home on Monday, September 5, 2016. James was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 19, 1963. He was a son of the late John D. Ganther, Sr. & Rita (Cangiano) Ganther. Survivors include his son, James D. Ganther, Jr., his brother John (Gina) Ganther, Jr., his brother Joseph (Tami Plath) Ganther and his sister Julie (Joe) Prest. Besides his parents, James was predeceased by his wife, Dori. A graveside service will take place at 11 o'clock on Saturday, September 10th, in the St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven, CT. There will be no calling hours.
