Obituary
GUILDERLAND –
Born in Buffalo, May 17, 1951, Jeffrey W. Seay, age 72, died peacefully surrounded by his family in Guilderland Center on September 29, 2023.
Jeff graduated from Niskayuna High School and later SUNY Albany with a B.A. in psychology. He worked retail/food service most of his life and was a friendly face to many in the Voorheesville community. He enjoyed the outdoors, sports, cooking, the Grateful Dead, his Harley and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered as an amazing father and friend, and for his kind manner and ability to connect with others.
Jeff fought a long courageous battle with metastatic throat cancer, enduring multiple lines of treatment and side effects, yet never uttered a complaint. He was very grateful to his PCP Dr. Wales and to his oncologist Dr. Kambam and the whole N.Y.O.H. team.
Jeff was predeceased by his parents Betty and Stedman Seay. He is survived by his children's mother Cindy; his daughter Jennifer (Justin) Fuld and granddaughter Giada; his son Jack Seay (Vicky, Lexi and Avery) and many special cousins.
Per Jeff's wishes there will be no services. Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
We would like to thank his hospice nurse Caitlyn Dean R.N., and also Angel R.N. and. Chi L.P.N. who ensured his comfort and greatly helped us.
