Racana Joan M. DELMAR
Joan M Racana, 86, wife of the late John (Jack)
Racana of Delmar,  passed away after a brief illness on
Wednesday, October 5, 2017 at St Peter's Hospital
surrounded by her family. She is survived by her
daughter, Lisa (Racana) Sammon of Delmar, NY, and son
Thomas Racana (Nina) of Rotterdam, NY; grandchildren
Stacie, Jason, and Stephanie Sammon (fiancé
James Glastetter) of Delmar, NY, and Ryan, Gabriella, and
Emily Racana of Rotterdam, NY; great-grandchildren
Alexander Hillicoss, Nicholas and Avalynn
Sammon of Delmar, NY, and Ryan, Gabriella, and Emily Racana of
Rotterdam, NY; sisters Barbara Bansak (Ted) of Melrose, FL and
Theresa Elefante (Peter) of Delmar, NY; she was predeceased by a
brother, Anthony Guglielmo Jr; nephews Adam and
Christopher Bansak, and David Elefante.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on
Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in the chapel at
St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Place, Delmar, NY.
Internment to follow at Calvary cemetery, Glenmont, NY.
