Joanne Wallace Fahrenkopf

Joanne Berschwinger Wallace Fahrenkopf passed away peacefully on September 17th after a long illness. 

Joanne was raised in Voorheesville, the daughter of Richard and Yvonne Berschwinger and was a graduate of Voorheesville High school. 

She joined the USAF where she met her first husband Steve Wallace. They lived in California for 20 years. She later moved back to the Albany area with her two sons, Sean and Kyle, where she met Jim Fahrenkopf. They married and spent many happy years enjoying similar interests such as camping, gardening and fishing. 

Joanne is survived by her son Kyle Wallace and his fiancé Ruth Moya. Her granddaughter, Mirabell Wallace, her sisters Jean (Steve) Califano and Rose Smith. Joanne lost her son Sean Wallace in 2002, then Her husband Jim earlier this year. 

The family would like to send greatest gratitude to the 4th floor staff at the Teresian House for their compassionate care of Joanne during her time there.
