Jodie O'Connell, 68, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving daughters.

Born on July 15, 1957, Jodie lived a life centered on love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family. She spent more than 30 years working in various customer service positions, where her warm smile, kind heart, and willingness to help others made a lasting impression on everyone she met. To know Jodie was to know a true friend.

Jodie found joy in many hobbies and interests throughout her life. She loved crafting, reading, playing word games, gardening, and—even though she would be the first to admit she wasn't very good at it—swimming. She appreciated life's simple pleasures and took great pride in creating cherished memories with those she loved.

Family was the center of Jodie's world. She lived and breathed for those she loved and delighted in hosting cookouts, holiday celebrations, birthday parties, and family gatherings that brought everyone together. Her home was always open, and her heart even more so. Whether offering a comforting hug, a listening ear, thoughtful advice, or a kiss to heal a scrape, Jodie was a constant source of love, comfort, and support. Her grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Mammy," were among her greatest joys and the light of her life.

Jodie is survived by her siblings, Robert (Mindy), John (Sue), Lisa (Floyd), Frank (Georgianna), and Lance; her beloved daughters, Chrystal (Ken), Candace (Mike), and Charity (Matt); her cherished grandchildren, Kasandra, Timothy, Mariah, Codie, Trinity, Cherish, Christopher, Dylan, and Caelyn; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank; her mother, Shirley; and the love of her life, Timothy.

Jodie's legacy of love, kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
