West Sand Lake, NY- John E. Frisbie, 68, of West Sand Lake, NY, formerly of Westfield, MA, succumbed to Lewy Body Disorder on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving aboard the USS Annapolis during the Vietnam conflict. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Susan, and their daughter Meghan, of Cambridge, MA. He is also survived by his sister, Susan Ellinger and spouse of Huntington MA, and Sharon Tompkins and spouse of Westfield MA, in addition to several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Cleo Frisbie, and his brother James. John cherished his time with his friends and family at his cottage in Becket, MA. In accordance with John and his family's wishes, there will be no formal services and a celebration of his life will be announced at a future date. If desired, contributions may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simple Choices, Inc. Cremation Service.
