John Pedreira

John D. Pedreira passed away on July 6, 2026 after a battle with lung cancer. John was born in Canton, Ohio on January 18, 1957 to Eileen Fitzgerald and AJ Pedreira.

John is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lynn (Chouiniere) Pedreira and their daugher Lauren (Christopher) Whyno. As a family they enjoyed their many trips to Disneyworld and Maine. John was happiest while sharing this time with his family.

In addition to his wife and daughter John is survived by his father AJ (Mac) Pedreira, his siblings Cindy (Rick) Pedreira, Mark (Laurie) Pedreira and Jennifer (Tom) Pedreira, his brother in law Dave (Donna) Chouiniere sisters in law Karen (late John) Ryan and Nancy (William) Bragin along with several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his constant canine companion Bert.

John was predeceased by his mother Eileen Leonard Fitzgerald, his in laws William and Jane Chouiniere, brother in law Jack Ryan and nephew Brian Bragin

The family would like to thank their very special friends Mary and Chuck McGaffin and the staff of Community Hospice for their kindness and support at the end of John’s life. They would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered love, prayers and support during this difficult time.

In accordance with John’s wishes there will be no services.
