Slingerlands, NY John Tanner, 62, of Slingerlands, NY past away, February 20, 2020, after a short illness, at St. Peter's Hospital Hospice Inn, Albany, NY. Born, July 2, 1957, he was the son of the late Gardiner and Virginia (Carl) Tanner. John was a Graduate of Bethlehem HS He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, June M. Parker Tanner; a brother Jeffery (Jennifer) Tanner of Smethport PA; his aunt Audrey Carl, uncle William Douglas Tanner, and many cousins. John loved to garden, travel, camp, and work on cars. He loved animals, helping his neighbors with repairs, and talking politics. Services will be private.
