Schenectady The Reverend John H. Wilkerson, 80, of Schenectady, passed away on December 23rd, 2016. He was born on February 6th, 1936 in Enterprise, Alabama. Reverend Wilkerson leaves to cherish his memory one daughter Rashawn Retia (Pershawna Retia, Renequa Chante) a son John-David (Janeah-Danielle, Jeremiah-Donte) and two great granddaughters. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Sunday January 8th 2017 at the Sweet Pilgrim Baptist Church, 24 Ten Broeck St. Albany, NY 12210, immediately following morning worship service. To be officiated by Pastor Elgin Taylor, Sr. Interment with full military honors will take place on Friday January 6th, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Saratoga National Cemetery.
