Jonathan Edward Kozel

Jonathan Kozel passed away peacefully on September 15, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. 

Born on March 15, 1956, Jon lived a life devoted to family, hard work, and community.

The son of Edward and Barbara Kozel, Jon dedicated his career to the family business, Meadowgreens, where he found a true passion for maintaining the golf course and its landscapes. His dedication to his work was matched by the many friendships he formed along the way. Jon was a devoted father and grandfather. 

He is survived by his children, Andrea (Brad) Kozel-Kinnon, Stephanie (Bill) Kozel-Carr, and Jeremiah Kozel; his sister, Diane (David) Busa; and his grandchildren, Brandon and Gabriella. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Barbara Kozel, and his brother, Richard Kozel.

Jon’s memory will be honored in a private ceremony. In keeping with his courageous fight against cancer, the family kindly suggests donations in his memory to the American Cancer Society.

Jon leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and dedication. His memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
