Joseph M. Williams of Schenectady, NY, age 61, passed away on June 12, 2026.
Joe grew up in Scotia and resided in Schenectady. He is survived by siblings: Mary Lou (Craig) Williams-Howard of Rotterdam, Tim (Patty) Williams of Mooresville, NC, Megan (Art) Lindemanis of Perry, ME and dear friends, Laura Russo and Mary and Dan Bruser.
“Big” Joe was well-known for his work with Rainbow Sprinklers & days bartending/cooking at Brother Dom’s, Grinter’s & the Hibernian Hall in Sch’dy. He was an avid reader, movie buff, talented artist, storyteller, foodie and loved entertaining & feeding friends.
He will be sorely missed by many. A celebration of life will be held at the Ancient Order of Hibernian Hall at 1748 State St, Sch’dy, 12304 on Tuesday, 6/16/26, between 3pm-6pm. Those unable to attend, please “raise a parting glass”, in honor of Joe.
