SCHENECTADY Josephine Zeno DeLucia, 89, of Shannon St., Schenectady, died on Sunday, April 4 at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Amsterdam, NY, Josephine moved to Schenectady in 1939 after her marriage to her late husband, Arthur Delucia who died in 1979. Josephine worked at "The Glove Factory" on Congress St. in Schenectady for 10 years, after which she worked in food service for Union College until her retirement in 1985. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Schenectady. Josephine most enjoyed spending time playing bingo, cards and "games of chance" as well as socializing with friends. She is survived by her children: Judith A. Holtslander(the late Francis Holtslander), Arthur (Carol) DeLucia, Jr. and Michael A. (Kathleen) DeLucia, Sr. all of Schenectady. Grandmother of Michael and Michelle Holtslander, Maria (Chris) Relyea, Vincent (Kimberly) DeLucia, Arthur John DeLucia, Tricia (Peter) Mravlja, and Michael DeLucia, Jr. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Friday morning, April 9 at 10:30 o'clock at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Brandywine Ave, Schenectady with the Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make contributions in Josephine's memory to St.Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or a charity of your choice.
