Schenectady,NY- Karen Ann Smith Pidgeon MacLachlan, 66, of Schenectady, NY, died peacefully at home on Sunday, November 15, 2015. Karen was the loving daughter of the late William and Eleanor Smith. Fiancé to her Boo, James Magiera. Loving Mother to Michael (Dawn) Pidgeon Jr., Dana (Lou) Breton and Kristopher (Frank) Pidgeon. Devoted Nana to Amberlyn Pidgeon, Gabriella Negron and Victoria Pidgeon also great grandchildren Corah and Elijah Allen. She was also a loving Sister, Aunt and Friend to many. Karen's passion was spending time with family, playing cards and gardening. She enjoyed the casino, going to bingo and the many garage sales with Annie.
