Kathleen "Kiki" A. Colvin (Jensen), 70, of Castleton-on-Hudson, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 31, 1956, in Glens Falls, New York, Kiki was the daughter of the late Godtfred T. Carlsen-Jensen and Edna F. Sutherland-Brown. She graduated from the Watervliet High School BOCES program and proudly became a licensed nurse, beginning a career dedicated to caring for others. She eventually stepped away from nursing to devote herself to raising her children.

Kiki is survived by her 4 children, Shawn Edwards, Mandy Edwards (Sebastian Dziedzic), Paul (PJ) (Jessica) Colvin, Kevin Colvin (Danylle Gerstel), Her Grandchildren Joel, Mackenzie, Cameron, Kaleina, Ryan, Kristopher, Matthew, Ethan, Grant, James, Vincent, William, Jacob, Savannah, Michael. Her Siblings Gary (Kim) Lynch, Sharon (William) Vincent, Trish Ellsworth (John Grigg) William Jensen, Virginia (Jesse) Sawyer, Joseph (Britney Spears) Brown, James Brown (Melissa (Harran), Jeffrey (Kim) Brown, Robert (Carol) Kuchar, Laura Graham, Dennis Antun, Pre-deceased by Her Husband Paul J. Colvin, Grand mother (Nana) Edna Day-Sutherland, Special cousins Shannon Haley-Wilbur, Stephen Haley., Dear uncle and Aunt Edward and Katherine Haley. Kiki was a strong, creative, and unapologetically hilarious woman who knew how to make life a little more special. She was never one to bite her tongue and certainly wasn't afraid to speak her mind, whether her opinion was requested or not. You always knew where you stood with Kiki, and she wouldn't have had it any other way. Whether celebrating birthdays, holidays, or simply spending time with family, she had a talent for turning everyday moments into lasting memories. Her quick wit, sharp tongue, and unfiltered sense of humor meant there was always a laugh to be had, and she never missed an opportunity to deliver a clever remark or put a smile on someone's face.

No time of year shined brighter for Kiki than Christmas. She adored the holiday season and took great joy in creating its magic for those around her. Among the family's most treasured memories are the years Kiki dressed as Mrs. Claus alongside her late husband, Paul Colvin. Together, they brought the spirit of Christmas to life, filling the season with laughter, wonder, and unforgettable moments.

Kiki leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, creativity, and cherished family traditions. Her absence will be felt in the little things—the birthdays she made special, the holidays she brought to life, the handmade treasures she created, and the laughter that always seemed to follow her.

Though she may no longer be here to don her Mrs. Claus suit or fill the holidays with her special kind of magic, the traditions she created and the memories she gave her family will carry her spirit forward for generations.
