On Sunday, April 22, 2018, Kenneth W. Smith Jr, 64, of Albany, NY, passed peacefully in his sleep. Son of Kenneth W. Smith Sr. and Anna Baggett Smith. Husband of Doreen (Dodi) Smith. Father of Gregory, Melissa and Ian Smith. Enjoyed his 7 grandchildren; Danae, Brandon, Colin, Callie, Marley, Madison and Riley Smith.

Bass guitar player, retired National Sales Manager for Citta Seating, and 39 years experience in various aspects of Food Service Equipment, Supplies and Commercial Seating.

Ken loved the music business and played bass since his teen years. He made many friends locally and internationally and was considered a trusted and knowledgeable trader in used speaker equipment and unique basses.

Besides music, Ken loved his family, food, dogs, Ireland and Netflix. He will be missed by all.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 6 PM from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 420 New Scotland Avenue, Albany, NY 12208.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
