NASSAU -
Kevin Film of Nassau NY born August 4, 1954 passed away in his home December 4, 2025.
Kevin was an avid hunter and handyman. He thrived on his daily visits from all of his close friends that were part of extended "family". He was predeceased by his parents William and Helen Film and his brothers Bill and Steve. He is survived by the love of his life, his devoted wife of over 52 years, Yvonne Film, his brothers Rick and Bob, sister Dawn and several nieces and nephews. Over the years he has mastered his passion of cooking preparing meals for his dear friends. There was not a clam or a hot wing he did not love. He was a prankster with a rare sense of humor. His work allowed him to travel and live in all parts of the country.
When he moved on he left new lifelong friends behind. His gentle nature made everyone comfortable in his home and he will be dearly missed by anyone who fortunate enough to cross his path. He enjoyed hosting "church" on Sundays for his congregation of close friends greeted with his famous Bloody Marys.
There will be a celebration of Kevin's life in the Spring on 4-20. In lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to choose kindness.
