ORISKANY FALLS, NY - Kevin Alan Sergent, 63, of Oriskany Falls, entered into rest June 20, 2022. The son of the late Clinton E. and Helen M. (Perry) Sergent, Kevin was born on March 11, 1959, in Oneida, New York. He was raised in Munnsville, NY. For most of his life he resided in the Waterville area. Kevin was a graduate of Stockbridge Valley High School class of 1977. For many years, Kevin worked as a laborer installing awnings. He enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, going to the American Legion, and, in general, raising hell. Survivors include one sister, Valorie (Chuck) Greer of Stafford, VA, two brothers, Duane (Kathy) Sergent of Mineral, VA and Mac Sergent of Georgetown, NY; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Kevin was predeceased by one sister, Brenda Sergent. The family especially wants to thank our cousin, Gordon Perry for his support and care of Kevin for the past several years. He loved you, 'bro. The family would also like to thank Jessica Edick for her steadfast love and friendship with Kevin. Cremation took place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. There will be no calling hours or service. The family invites family and friends to his committal which will be held on Saturday, August 6th at 2:30PM at the Knoxboro Augusta Cemetery, 2357 Huth-Sayer Rd, Oriskany Falls, NY 13425 with a gathering at the American Legion Post 54, 6311 E Hill Rd, Munnsville, NY 13409 at 3:30PM to celebrate his life.
