Albany, NY Linda Marie Serenka, 54 of Jay Street, passed away on Friday, October 22 at Albany Medical Center after a long illness. Linda earned an Associates degree from Monroe Community College and worked as a receptionist at eba Center for Dance and Fitness on Hudson Avenue in Albany. She is survived by her husband of 24 years Robert L. Serenka, Jr., two brothers; Steven and Bernie and a sister Bobbie. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service which will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 21 Hackett Blvd., Albany on Saturday afternoon, October 30 at 3 PM. A "pot-luck" reception will follow. Inurnment will take place in the columbarium of St. Paul's Church Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her memory be made to the Transplant Awareness Organization, PO Box 23522, Rochester, NY 14692-3552.
