COHOES - Marcia Jean Bowman, 64, of Cohoes, entered into rest on November 3, 2022, peacefully with her loving family at her side. Beloved daughter of Charles and Patricia Wiley. Cherished mother of Stephanie and Samantha Bowman. Dearest sister of Willis, David, Gary, Mark, and Brian Wiley. Loving grandmother of Gabriella. Marcia will be warmly remembered as a very loving woman who was outgoing, happy and all around fun to be around. Marcia was deeply loved by all. Those who knew her best, they knew her humor and what a "character" she was. Marcia lived an adventurous life, and a very good one. She raised two daughters Stephanie and Samantha Bowman whom she cherished more than anything in this world, as well as her one granddaughter Gabriella (who was her partner in crime.) Marcia's blessing to you would be to remember her with smiles and happy memories, and not to grieve her passing. Although we wanted to have her stay, it was her time for her to go Home to Heaven and rest peacefully. A place we all hope to be with her, one day, again. Cremation took place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. Relatives and Friends are invited to gather on Saturday (Nov. 12) from 12PM-2PM in the Chapel of Simple Choices, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue, Troy, New York 12180. A Celebration of Marcia's life will take place in the funeral home at 2PM where relatives and friends are invited to share memories with the family.
