Marion Davey Marino, 101 years old, passed away peacefully January 10, 2026, at home.
Marion was born August 18,1924 to the late Anthony L and Angelina ( Attanasio )Davey. She was the loving wife of Albert Joseph Marino for 29 years until his passing in March 1980.
Her siblings , Danial (Joan) Davey, John (Katherine) Davey, and Anthony (Dee) Davey, all predeceased her.
Survivors include her children Patricia (Rick) Pierotti, and Thomas (Kelly) Marino. Her eldest son Robert (Deborah) Marino pre-deceased her in 2023. Marion is also survived by her grandchildren Nicholas( Melissa) Marino, Allison Marino, Mark (Paula) Marino, Andrew Marino, and Gregory (Carolina) Marino, and step grandchildren Marina DeSantis, Dante Pierotti and Demitria ( Brandon) Shepler. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Marion was a homemaker for most of her life. She entered the workforce at the age of 55 after the passing of her husband and remained working until the age of 83. She was a devout Catholic and a Eucharistic Minister for many years, volunteering at Albany Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 10-11:30 am at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville NY, 12211, followed by a funeral mass at 11:30am. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers donations would be graciously accepted to the ALS Association and the Rett’s Syndrome Foundation
