Mary Ellen Clark, 80 years old of Delmar, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 17, 2021 with her family by her side after a brief courageous battle of pancreatic and liver cancer. Born in Albany, she graduated V.I. in 1959 and went to Albany Business College. She worked at New York State Department of Health until her and her husband of 52 years, William H. Clark III, had children. Mary Ellen lit up every room she was in. She loved to spend time with her family and dear friends who she considered her extended family. For many years, Mary Ellen loved going to Saratoga Racetrack in August. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends, going to Maine or New Hampshire with her family and going out on her girl's lunch dates. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Besides her husband, Mary Ellen is survived by her sister, Barbara Maczek, her children, Stacey (Jamie) Lauder, William H. Clark IV, her grandchildren, Kyle and Gavin Lauder, William and Broden Clark, Linda (Christopher) Greenfield, her great grandchildren, Christopher, Michael and Thomas Greenfield, her nephew Steven Maczek, her niece Lisa (John) Digman and their children Elizabeth and Amber Digman, and Debra (Donald) Dorn.
