Michael J. Burke, 66, of Burnt Hills, passed away April 12, 2014. He was born in Buffalo, New York and the son of Nancy and Joseph Burke. Mike was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife, Cathleen, and three children, Connie (Richard) Mattice, Angie Fahr, and David Fahr, and five grandchildren. He served in the US Army, volunteered at the Burnt Hills Fire Department, was active in his church and enjoyed the Wednesday morning men's bible study. As someone that worked with computers in various jobs throughout his life he enjoyed working with computers as a hobby, reading, enjoyed many rides on his Harley Davidson, ham radio (member of SARA), and Star Trek. He and Cathee also spent many years as members of the Schenectady Yacht Club. Calling hours are on Tuesday, April 15th 4:30-6:30pm with a service held immediately following at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 1593 Crescent Rd, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
