PETERSBURG –
Norma grew up in Albany, NY, and resided in California, Watervliet, NY, and for many years in Petersburg, NY with her family.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Ackner (and former spouse, Kevin). Grandchildren: Beth Finkle (Matt), Amanda Ross (Mark). Great Grandchildren: Haylee, Natalee, and Brantley Finkle. Predeceased by her loving mother, Dorothy.
Norma passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July, 3, 2024 after a recent health decline. Norma was a homemaker and caregiver. She enjoyed spending much of her time with her loving family. She cared very much about the welfare of animals. She had several during her lifetime. In her free time, she enjoyed birdwatching, music, and movies.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. A Private Celebration of Life will be held.
Donations may be made to your local Animal Shelter / Animal Rescue Organization in Norma's name.
