Slingerlands Norman E. Donaldson(NED), 64, passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday January 30, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Ned was born in New Haven, CT, son of the late Harry and Julie Donaldson. Honorably served in the U.S Navy, Graduate of Union College. Owner Operator of N.E.Donaldson Excavating, in Clarksville, NY. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Harter, daughters Bonnie(Dennis) Erno and Olivia Hockman, sons Michael Voorhaar, Richard(Elise) Voorhaar and Matthew Harter along with 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, brother Tracy Donaldson(Florida). Predeased by daughter Laura Harter, son Erik Harter, and sister C.Lynn Donaldson. Ned will be remembered for his hugh heart, passion for running equipment, and his smile. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11 AM on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Onesquethaw Reformed Church, Tarrytown Road, Clarksville, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
