Patricia Ann Fitzpatrick, 76, of Schenectady, NY, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, just two days after her 76th birthday.
Born and raised in Schenectady, Patricia spent her life deeply rooted in the community she loved. She had a quiet strength, a generous spirit, and a heart full of love for her family, animals, and the simple joys of life.
Patricia is survived by her devoted husband, John Fitzpatrick; her three daughters, Katie Stewart, Allison Sitors, and Cara Somma; and her beloved grandchildren: Declan and Brady Stewart, Gavin and Benjamin Sitors, and Connor, Caleb, Lila, and Gemma Somma. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
A lover of old westerns, Patricia had a soft spot for animals and adopted many pets over the years, each one finding a loving home with her. She could often be found treasure hunting at garage sales, always with a keen eye. She had a deep interest in family history and took pride in preserving the legacy of those who came before her.
In honor of Patricia's memory, donations may be made to Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association , causes close to her and her family's hearts.
