Schenectady, NY- Patricia was called home on Tuesday September 29, 2015. She was 74. She is survived by her husband Bruce of 49 years, as well as her daughter Quenby Vennett ( Thomas )and the light of her life, her granddaughter Elizabeth. Also her sister Phyllis and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Patricia enjoyed a life of serving the Lord and others as an RN at Ellis Hospital for over 50 years. After retiring in 1994 from nursing she joined the Pastoral Care department to continue helping people, which she did until April of this year. She was a member of Bellevue Reformed Church for over 60 years and was always ready to help anyone who needed it. She was also a mentor for Kids Hope USA and loved the kids she mentored. In her spare time, which wasn't that much, she was a bowler and played some golf. There will be a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, October 10th, at 11am at Bellevue Reformed Church, 2000 Broadway Schenectady NY 12306. A light luncheon will follow at the church.
